Although some people take the course without attending the live sessions, I strongly urge you to join in weekly for the nine weeks. We discuss the readings, I lecture and handle questions. Since I do send out complete transcripts of each live session, it is possible to gain all of the information without attending the live sessions. And of course, any student may email me at any time.

NB: The word school comes from the Greek word "schola", meaning leisure. Relax. Enjoy. Know pioneers have it harder, but it is worth the effort.
No one gains access to course materials or the classroom until they are confirmed as paid registrants. Here you may test out the classroom before the class starts, so if you encounter any problems, we can solve them before the last-minute rush. (There is NO audio or video component to the live class, althoug later you will be directed to lectures on youtube.)
How to participate
Below in step A) there is a link to the classroom, click and be patient for a minute or two for a page to appear that says TalkCity. In the upper left will be "Chat Now!" in a box with the word Worldtrade underlined. Please click on Worldtrade there in the chat now box to join the classroom. After a moment a window will open up and there will be a welcoming message. This is the "classroom."
Now you should be able to click on the input line with your mouse and type in "hello" and hit return or enter to have it appear in the classroom. During class time, I will be leading the class and you will be able to communicate with me and all other students by this method. Outside of class time, no one else will be in the classroom, so you will be "alone." Now try it yourself!
A) Click on here to now join a public room just like the classroom (it may be empty).
B) If the above does not put you in the test room within 3 minutes, wait an hour and try again. If still no luck, then eMail and let me know.
It is important you gain the capability of joining a classroom as soon as possible. Do not wait until the day of the class, for some people this is difficult and need help. Please do this early, or better yet, now!
